The Playlist Shuffle Tag

the playlist shuffle tag

Hello everyone.

I was tagged by the lovely Jesse @ Books At DawnIf you’ve not checked out his blog yet please do cause he is just all kinds of amazing.

I really love the idea of this tag because I absolutely love music and while I can’t listen to music while I read, I love creating playlists inspired by books or my favourite characters.

The Rules:

Put your music on shuffle and list the first 15 songs to play (no cheating) then tag 10 others to do it as well.

Sounds simple so let’s get to it. These songs are taken from my spotify playlist cause it’s been a while since I updated my iPod.

  1. Wild Things by Alessia Cara
  2. Apple Tree by Nina Nesbitt
  3. Just a Taste by Brett Eldredge
  4. Tomorrow Never Comes (Acoustic) by Zac Brown Band
  5. Beat of the Music by Brett Eldredge
  6. Colors by Halsey
  7. The Sound by The 1975
  8. Dreams by Fleetwood Mac
  9. Cop Car by Keith Urban
  10. Clouds by Newton Faulkner
  11. Midnight Sun by Phillip Phillips
  12. Chewing Gum by Nina Nesbitt
  13. Body Talk by Foxes
  14. Brother by The Mighty Oaks

    1. not all of these songs have made it to a character/book playlist yet but Brother by the Mighty Oaks always makes me think of Rhy/Kell in A Darker Shade of Magic and The Raven Boys, They just have the best brotherhood and it just goes to show that family does not end in blood. 🙂

  1. Thanks for tagging me! Haha, if only I could use Spotify at work I wouldn’t be updating my iPhone either, but alas. 😛

I like Wild Things, but that’s pretty much the only song I know off the top of my head from your playlist! I should really broaden my music horizons. What would you recommend from this list?

    1. It depends on what you’re in the mood for. Brett Eldredge, Billy Currington, Keith Urban and Zac Brown Band have some great country tunes that appeal to the country/pop crossover. Nina Nesbitt has a folksy/pop beat as does Newton and the Mighty Oaks
At the moment The 1975 have been my go-to so if you’re in the mood for some Alternative rock I’d go for them.
Basically when it comes to music I like a little bit of everything haha.
