Hello everyone. I am back with yet another tag, the Beautiful Blogger Award. I was nominated by Summer @ XingSings and Jesse @ Books at Dawn. Thanks you guys. ❤
THE RULES
- Link to the blogger who took the time to nominate you.
- List seven random things about yourself.
- Nominate seven creative, beautiful bloggers.
- Notify the amazing people that you nominated for the award.
7 Facts About Me
- I am an April baby, meaning that I am a Taurus and my birth stone is a diamond cause I’m just that precious. 😉
- I love the snow. I feel like I need a good heap of snow before I can move on to the next season.
- I’m an optimist at heart. I just like looking on the bright side of things instead of dwelling over the negatives.
- Rugby is probably the only sport that brings out my competitive side.
- I have 3 chickens; Patsy, Loretta and Tami Wyn. Basically I’m never low on fresh eggs.
- I’m an introvert with extrovert tendencies, I’m sure there’s a word for that. Basically I’m usually shy when you first meet me but once I get to know the person a bit more I’ll open up. When that happens you won’t be able to shut me up.
- I have a craving for meringue right now.
I Nominate

#6 is the perfect description of me! I’m so loud and crazy among friends, but I’m so shy when it comes to new people or surroundings where there are many people I don’t know, haha. 🙂
Thanks so much for nominating me! x

Yes. I find it particularly awkward when a family member I haven’t seen in years visits and I’m just stood there like I have no idea who you are and how we’re related haha.

24 hour update and still no meringue to satisfy the craving. This makes me sad. 😦

Yes. Snow makes me feel all warm and cosy, especially when I have a fire burning inside and a cup of tea in hand haha.

It must be amazing to never be low on fresh eggs. I LOVE eggs but I’ve always lived in cities and I’m rather unsuitable to raise pets, haha.
I’m not a big fan of the snow AT ALL. I’ve really only lived in a snowy area for about a semester (in the UK for an exchange program) but I really dislike how dirty it looks after a few days. Also, I didn’t have snowproof boots so that might be why…
Thanks for the tag! One of these days I really should do these facts-about-me ones. 😛

Technically they’re my mum’s chickens but I’ve been taking care of them. They like to make noise but are also quite comical and the eggs are always a plus. 😛
I’m with you on the dirtiness afterwards but the initial blanket we get that’s so picturesque always wins for me. You’d think by now I’d learn to buy snowproof boots but I still don’t own a pair so my feet always end up suffering haha.

Forgive my ignorance, but how do you actually take care of chickens? Like, what can you do with them? Do they recognise you? 😛
Yeah — I was totally in love with snowfall, just not so much with… fallen snow. And my toes always felt like SUPER COLD. Thankfully Australia doesn’t really have snow except over the mountains. 😛

haha no worries. When it comes to chickens we do the maintenance. Luckily for us we have an open garden for them to roam throughout the day and we basically just feed them, clean out the coup and make sure they’re healthy. They tend to follow you around a lot cause they think we have food on us. They’re great gardeners as well. The amount of times I’ve seen them crowded around my mum as she gardens is hilarious. They like to see if they can pick out the worms for her haha.
