Top Ten Tuesday: Books I’d Slay a Lion to Get Early

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme created by the Broke and Bookish and hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl where we get a new topic for a top 10 list.

I always write up a list of book I want to prioritise for the year. I’ve been a lot more strict with my book spending this year, but there are a few books that demand to be bought. I wouldn’t literally slay a Lion, I’d be eaten by the Lion if I tried, but there is that level of desperation that comes with waiting to get my hands on these books.

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme created by the Broke and Bookish and hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl where we get a new topic for a top 10 list.

Happy Tuesday! Since my last post, I’ve gone and twisted my bad knee again. Resting the knee meant that I had plenty of time to search through my quote book for this weeks topic. This was such a hard topic, not because I couldn’t find anything, but because there were too many to choose from. The quotes I’ve chosen today are ones that provoked a reaction from me. Whether it be the emotion of the moment, or the way I could relate to it. Some also make great life mantras, while others are simply just an epic quote. Here are 10 of my favourite book quotes.

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme created by the Broke and Bookish and hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl where we get a new topic for a top 10 list.

Happy Tuesday everyone. I hope the week has been kind to you so far. This week, we are talking about our go-to books. We all have those books that we can never get enough of. I love re-reading books. Sometimes they even overlap, which makes things even more confusing. I’ve also noticed that I tend to associate certain books with the emotional reaction I had instead of the actual content. Here’s a list of the books I loved but can’t remember much about.

This week is all about the best of the year. Now, my reading preferences have been all over the place this year. There’s been a shift in the most read genre category and I’ve been facing a bit of a slump. However, these books are the ones that stood out the most to me and the ones I’d happily go back and re-read. Here are my top 10 favourite books of 2017.

Top Ten Tuesday: Must Visit Bookish Locations.

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and Bookish where we get a new topic for a top 10 list.

Just a warning, this post was written at the very last minute before heading out for the day, so I’m keeping it short and sweet. This weeks topic is all about those fictional worlds we’d love to visit. We are spoiled for options this week, but these were the first five locations to come to mind when I saw this topic.
