I have always been torn between contemporary and fantasy novels, but lately, my current reads have all been fantasy books. Therefore, this weeks topic will spotlight my recommended fantasy novels. These books are perfect for longtime fans of the genre and for those new to fantasy.
As you all know, this year has not been the most productive reading wise for me. It’s safe to say I am most definitely in a slump. I recently wrote a discussion post on how I’ve come to embrace my book slump. However, if you are desperate to get rid of this slump then these type of books are the ones I’d recommend you turn to when facing a reading slump.
1. Contemporary Books
Cupid’s got his arrow out and is ready to make his mark once again. However, this single lady has only been struck by her swoon-worthy book boyfriends lately. I’ve started reading a lot more romance novels and with Valentine’s day just around the corner, I thought I’d share with you some of the most swoon-worthy novels I’ve read so far. Now, I tend to read a lot of the same author, so to save this list from becoming one massive gushing session on all of their books, I’ve chosen to spotlight one book by each author.

Happy Halloween everyone. Now, typically I don’t buy into the Halloween festivities, mainly because I don’t actually have anywhere to go. However, in my teen years, I went through a phase of watching all the horror films I could find. Don’t ask me why cause they scared the life out of me.
