Top Ten Tuesday: Summer Reads

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and Bookish where we get a new topic for a top 10 list.

Summer’s here and it feels so good. Our summers are usually short and sweet in the UK so any sign of sunshine and warmth is welcomed. Summertime is usually my contemporary reading time. I like it when a book reflects the weather and I have been seriously slacking on my contemporary reading (and reading in general) this year. So here are the 10 contemporary books I plan on devouring this summer.

Top Ten Tuesday: Mother’s Day Freebie

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and Bookish where we get a new topic for a top 10 list.

Fun fact, we (the UK) actually celebrate this holiday in the month of March but mother’s deserve all the love and appreciation in the world everyday. Sadly, I’ve noticed that a lot of Young Adult and Fantasy novels tend to either kill off the mother or have them be a non entity. Dream Book Conference Panel

Happy Monday to you all. We all have a list of authors we would love to meet. Fortunately in this day and age conferences and conventions are a regular occurrence in certain areas. The idea of this post is to share my ideal panel for a book conference.  For this dream panel, I’ve divided the authors into categories by genre and explain why they make up my dream panel.
