1. V. E. Schwab: Schwab is a powerhouse in fantasy writing. Her Shades of Magic series is one of my all-time favourite fantasy franchises and what makes her an auto-buy author is that I can always count on her to create an immersive fantasy world without sacrificing the pacing of the book or the character arcs.

I am a huge advocate for re-reading books. There are so many benefits that come from re-reading, but the main one for me is that sense of comfort that comes with it. It’s like reuniting with a long lost friend almost. However, as much as I love some books, they’re not ones I’m likely to re-read. Here’s why:

Happy Tuesday! Since my last post, I’ve gone and twisted my bad knee again. Resting the knee meant that I had plenty of time to search through my quote book for this weeks topic. This was such a hard topic, not because I couldn’t find anything, but because there were too many to choose from. The quotes I’ve chosen today are ones that provoked a reaction from me. Whether it be the emotion of the moment, or the way I could relate to it. Some also make great life mantras, while others are simply just an epic quote. Here are 10 of my favourite book quotes.
