Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and Bookish where we get a new topic for a top 10 list.

This week takes us back to the past, where we look at the books we read that were published a while back. This topic is again a stark reminder of how time flies and I couldn’t believe how old some of these books are. Here are the books I love that were published at least 5 years ago.

Discussion: Why I Read Fantasy

Fantasy the faculty or activity of imagining impossible or improbable things.

Today is all about fantasy, one of my go to genres. The rise of fantasy is not surprising. From the Lord of the Rings to Harry Potter, people have always gravitated towards books that make the impossible possible. There are a lot of reasons people gravitate towards fantasy novels and today I want to highlight the qualities I love the most in a fantasy.

Top Ten Tuesday: Books Added to the TBR List

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and Bookish where we get a new topic for a top 10 list.

I love exploring family dynamics in books so this week I am going to highlight some books that have a strong focus on family.

I am still without my laptop. 😥 So if I’ve been quiet on the blogosphere it’s because of that. Anyway, Happy Valentines Day to you all. I will be celebrating the occasion by treating myself to an abundance of chocolate. Naturally this weeks theme is all about love and I thought I’d take the time to highlight the books that feature a slow burn romance.

Top Ten Tuesday: Books I’d Like a Sequel To

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and Bookish where we get a new topic for a top 10 list.

This weeks topic is all about wanting more/less of something. Certain books have a habit of leaving me wanting more. Sometimes it’s because the book lacked a something or could have used some extra pages to fill in the gaps. However, most of the time it’s more of a case of me being greedy and not being ready to say goodbye to a case of characters. Here are the ten books/series that I feel could use a sequel.
