Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and Bookish where we get a new topic for a top 10 list.

This week is all about the books that grew on us. Some books are a hit from the first chapter but others take their time in building up that attachment. I think those books that get off to a slow starts are the ones that end up staying with us because when we finish it’s easier to appreciate the time it took to lay the foundations that made the books so incredible in the end. Top Ten Tuesday: Books I Picked Up on a Whim

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and Bookish where we get a new topic for a top 10 list.

I love going into a book blind and it’s something I don’t do as much as I use to, which sucks sometimes because there’s nothing better than jumping into a book blind. With no expectations and hopes, I find that picking up a book on a whim is just such a fun experience because it’s just so unpredictable, like you’re jumping into the unknown.

Top Ten Tuesday: Favourite Quotes from Books I Don’t Talk About Enough

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and Bookish where we get a new topic for a top 10 list.

This weeks topic is all about showing some love to books we feel like we don’t talk about enough. I’ve kind of taken on this topic in the last freebie we had, which you can see here. So I thought why don’t I highlight my favourite quotes from books I feel I don’t give as much attention to. These books are all ones I really enjoyed but I only mention in passing or I only refer to the book in the context of the entire series.

This weeks topic is a freebie. Trying to think of a topic for these freebies is always a challenge, mostly because my mind goes blank haha. So this weeks theme is not the most original but I thought it would be nice to highlights some books I read and loved before I began blogging.

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and Bookish where we get a new topic for a top 10 list.

This weeks topic is about debut author’s whose sophomore novels I desperately need in my hands this very instance. I read a lot of series so I tend to class their entire series as their debut so my picks are of author’s sophomore series I need.   top 10 sophmore debut

1. Katja Millay: The Sea of Tranquility remains to be one of my all time favourite contemporary, Young/New Adult novels. This book was so emotionally draining and I really connected with the characters. This book came out in 2012 so I am desperately waiting to see what Katja comes up with next. Continue reading
