FRIENDS: BEST CAST OF CHARACTERS/FRIENDSHIPS

23437156

These guys. What can I say. I love my rebellious crew. There are so many great dynamics within this group and exploring these dynamics was so much fun. Despite some tensions within the group these guys came together in the end and with the way things are looking in Crooked Kingdom they will be a force to be reckoned with.

GREY’S ANATOMY: ALL THE FEELS

My heart. ❤ This book took me on one hell of an emotional roller-coaster. Seriously you go from smiling to crying in the blink of an eye. Josh and Skylar had my shippers heart going into overdrive and I will always have a soft spot for these two. I was tempted to put Josh as my favourite book boyfriend but I can gush about him here. He is my love. 😉

SUPERNATURAL: FAVOURITE PARANORMAL/FANTASY

11500217

I’m picking this series due to the fact that the book explores the whole Angel Apocalypse angle, something Supernatural is very familiar with. I also love how dark this book gets. No sugar coating and the angels are brutal warriors.

ONE TREE HILL: FAVOURITE BOOK BOYFRIEND

Finnikin of the Rock

I’d like to introduce you to me book husband, Finnikin. If you’ve not met him then I suggest you pick up this book. He is the best of the best. He loves fiercely and his devotion to Evanjalin is heartwarming.

MODERN FAMILY: BEST FAMILY OR PARENTS

12294652

You all know how much I love the Garrett’s family. Jase is the sweetest boyfriend. The parents are so supportive of their children and were so welcoming to Sam. The family dynamics is also hilarious and really endearing but most of all, they have George; the cutest 4 year old in existence.

  1. Yay, thanks fo doing the tag, Lois! I still haven’t read Six of Crows yet (oops) but I LOVE I’ll Meet You There and My Life Next Door. Mr and Mrs Garrett are just SO NICE and so supportive, and it’s amazing how great their relationship is with their kids. ❤

    1. I love the fact that Jase’s parents have such a prominent role in the kids life, despite how hectic it is. Like Jase’s father helping him with training for football and advice with Sam; it’s so heartwarming. I’d love to get a little novella on how the parents got together.

      1. That would be super sweet! I forgot – have you read The Boy Most Likely To yet? I vaguely remember Alice (I think) commenting on how sometimes she’s angry that her parents have so many children, given the way they’re struggling with money. I thought that part was very realistic.

        1. I haven’t yet, shame on me. If I don’t read it this month I’ll be taking it with me on holiday. I do think will such a large family that there has to be some frustrations. We saw Jase express some of them in MLND and I loved that.

  2. Oh, THANK-YOU SO MUCH FOR TAGGING ME IN THIS! Haha, I’m just a little bit excited to start doing this one (can you tell?). Great answers! I haven’t read Six of Crows yet, but I am so excited to start reading it soon. Everyone tells me that it is fantastic 🙂

  3. Six of Crows has one of my favorite friends/group cast too. I miss these babies and can’t wait for next month to be here already. I will be devastated if anyone dies.
I’ll Meet You There is definitely a feels-fest. Just thinking about it makes me sad. 😦
If you like Angelfall, you should try Paula Weston’s series if you haven’t tried it yet. You’re going to love it. I can’t wait to read Finnikin and the Lumatere books.

    1. The Six of Crows crew are all safe in my protective bubble. No harm can come to them. 😉
I swear every time I re-read I’ll Meet You There I get choked up. The feels just keep coming.
I’ve heard a lot of amazing things about Paula Weston’s series and I’ve been itching to read another angel based story.

    1. Six of Crows was an absolute delight. It’s so dark and twisted but has a sprinkle of hope to it. It’s soooo worth the hype in my opinion.
Angelfall is definitely underrated but like Six of Crows it’s very dark and definitely captures the apocalyptic feel.
