History is All You Left Me by Adam Silvera

Publication Date:  January 17th 2017

Goodreads Summary
OCD-afflicted Griffin has just lost his first love, Theo, in a drowning accident. In an attempt to hold onto every piece of the past, he forges a friendship with Theo’s last boyfriend, Jackson. When Jackson begins to exhibit signs of guilt, Griffin suspects he’s hiding something, and will stop at nothing to get to the truth about Theo’s death. But as the grieving pair grows closer, readers will question Griffin’s own version of the truth—both in terms of what he’s willing to hide and what true love means.

Well, doesn’t this sound like a heart breaker? This is the kind of book that will undoubtedly tug at my heartstrings. Everything about it screams success. From dealing with the loss of his first love, to the guilt, mystery and most of all, learning to hope again and allow yourself to open your heart to new love. I cannot wait to see what History is All You Left Me has in store for us.

    1. I really need to get round to reading More Happy Than Not. It always seems to get lost in the shuffle of all the other books I have to read. I will get to it one day, that I promise you haha.

  1. Ah, this one does sound like a downer and emotional one already. I’m definitely adding it to my TBR! I still haven’t read MHTN (but, oh my, the hype for that one was insane); I’ll get to it someday! Thanks for sharing yet another great book, Lois! As for my most anticipated book… I haven’t had one lately. I do have a highly anticipated movie though! I really want to go see Me Before You when it comes out. (Lol, that was sort of random. I blame it on the time I’m writing this comment. My insomnia’s been bad lately. T.T)

    1. I thought I was the only one that hadn’t read MHTN!!? The hype is definitely immense for that book and I will get to it, hopefully someday soon haha.
Me Before You ❤ I've not read the book but the film looks so touching, romantic and heartbreaking. I think tissues and chocolate will be needed for when I watch it.
haha nothing wrong with a random thought, they often make for interesting convos. Ugh insomnia, I definitely feel the pain. You'd think once I finished university my sleeping pattern would have a bit more structure to it but it seems to be even more messed up now.
