Top Ten Tuesday: Bloggers to Follow

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and Bookish where we get a new topic for a top 10 list.

Happy Tuesday everyone. I hope April is treating you well so far. I love this weeks topic. The online bookish community is huge. From booktubers, to bookstagramers, bloggers etc, readers have so many platforms that enable them to connect with fellow readers. Here are 10 wonderful bloggers that I think everyone should be following. 😀

1. Reg @ She Latitude

Reg is absolutely wonderful. When it comes to discovering new books I can always rely on her reviews for guidance. Not only that but her Book Looks are absolutely on point and they suit the books so well.

2. Jenna @ Reading with Jenna

Jenna was one of the first people I followed. Her reviews are very detailed and honest. She is also responsible for my never ending to be read pile and has introduced me to some wonderful Australian titles that could have easily slipped under my radar. Plus, she’s super friendly and approachable.

3. Joey @ Another Afterthought

Let’s here it for the boys. One thing I’ve noticed about Joey is that he is constantly thinking outside the box. He will always have a unique spin on the weekly Top Ten Tuesdays and you simply can’t predict what he’ll post next. Plus his love for Kell’s coat is a ship in it’s own right. 😉

4. Aentee @ Read at Midnight

Fun Fact, Aentee was the first person to ever comment on my blog. Aentee is an all rounder. From her insightful discussion posts, to her in depth reviews and outstanding graphics, she can do it all.

5. Shannon @ It Starts at Midnight

Prior to actually making the jump and joining this community, Shannon was one of the few blogs I would turn to for bookish recommendations. What I really appreciate about her is the fact that she takes the time to post these long meaningful comments. Her enthusiasm over The 100 has also made me move that TV show into the top 3 of my to watch list.

6. Jorelene @ Page Chronicles

Blogging since February 2016, Jorelene has already made quite a mark on this community. Her blog is so neat and organised and her posts are so thoughtful and interesting.

7. Jesse @ Books at Dawn

Yet another one of the first people I interacted with in the community. Jesse is always so positive. I was not a comic book reader when I started the blog but after reading some of his recommendations I have a comic book to be read pile waiting for me to tuck in to.

8. Cait @ Paper Fury

Basically everyone will have heard about Cait in this community. Her content is hilarious, insightful and always makes me wish I had cake and a dragon. She’s friendly and approachable and will basically make you pick up any Maggie Stiefvater book.

9. Nick and Nereyda @ Nick and Nereyda’s Infinite Book List.

Two wonderful individuals that aren’t afraid to tell it as is it. Honesty is the best policy and I love reading their reviews and discussions. Their audiobook reviews have also given me a list of audiobooks I need to try out and get my hands on.

10. Summer @ XingSings

My go to girl for Asian dramas. 😉 Summer is an absolute delight. Her posts are insightful and entertaining. She is another person I hold responsible for my never ending to be read pile. Plus her blog is simply STUNNING.

Those are the 10 blogs I would recommend everyone follow.
Obviously there are so many more wonderful people in this community. So tell me
who are your go-to people in the bookish community?

  3. I CRY. Because I feel so honored to be on this list, Lois! ❤ (And you need to watch It's Okay, That's Love one day; like it is the best, THE BEST). And haha, honestly, I think you add more books to my TBR. Your Wednesday posts are my “let’s refill the Goodreads TBR pile” day. XD Anyway, thanks for the shout out! sending cute lambs your way (Though that makes no sense at all since I’m certain you have more lambs where you live than I do.)

    1. I will be sure to put It’s Okay, That’s Love on the top of my to watch list. I’m sure I remember you mentioning this show in one of your posts so I’m definitely intrigued.
haha I guess we can call it even in terms of never ending book lists. On the bright side we’ll never be short of books at this rate. 😉
No need for any thanks, you are an absolute gem. We definitely have plenty of lambs and I’ll be sure to send some cute pics of them your way cause they are just too precious. 😀
