The Love Tag

I figure I’d have to throw some Valentine’s love out there despite the fact that the day has come and gone. Here enters the Love Tag.

Thank you Jesse @ Books at Dawn for the tag. You’re a star. 😀

Books other people love but you haven’t gotten around to read.

Sorry guys but I have not jumped on the Harry Potter bandwagon yet. I didn’t read much when I was younger and I’ve just never really been drawn to the books. I’ll probably end up reading them at some point out of curiosity.

A book that you love that no one else talks about.

Burning Blue by Paul Griffin. Granted this was released back in 2012 but I just love the mystery behind the book.

I’ll Meet You There by Heather Demetrios. so predictable of me, I know but this book just moved me. I love it. ❤

Favorite book couple.

Finnikin of the Rock13138635

Obviously Tarver and Lilac (These Broken Stars) are my OTP but Finnkin and Isaboe (Finnikin of the Rock) are equally as swoonworthy. These two couples have a wonderful dynamic and the partnership between them is beautiful. These guys are relationship goals

Did you need to ask? Of course it’s going to be The Raven Cycle

The perfect song.

This song just makes me happy. Although I am slightly gutted that I won’t be able to go to his concert next week. 😥

A cute DIY.

    1. haha I’ve just never been drawn to the Potter books sadly. I take it I’m missing out haha.

I absolutely adored Something Real and yes Heather Demetrios’ writing is so addictive and I just love how raw the emotions are in both her books. I’d definitely recommend I’ll Meet You There. 😀

    1. Confession, I’ve not even watched the entire film series. It’s usually background noise when it’s on TV but I never pay attention to it. I think I should probably have a Potterthon soon just so I can see what the hypes about. Other than that I’m not that fussed about Potter. 😛

  1. Great tag! I LOVE THE RAVEN BOYS. I am going to be so incredibly sad when the series ends! I’ve never read Finnikin of the Rock, but I do love a good romance so I will have to check it out!! 🙂

    1. The Raven King will be emotionally exhausting, especially since I have absolutely no idea how it will end. Finnikin of the Rock not only has a breathtaking romance but it also has some great characters, adventure and an exploration of human nature. It’s an epic fantasy. Definitely recommended. 😀

  2. I don’t know how I didn’t notice your love for The Raven Cycle series until recently when Joey made that bloggers time travel post, but gosh, I really need to pick it up soon! Have you read Stiefvater’s other books? I read Shiver a long, long time ago and liked it!

    1. haha I feel like my love for The Raven Cycle just gets louder and clearer as we get closer to the release date of The Raven King 😛 I’ve read The Scorpio Races but I’ve not read Shiver. Is it worth the read?
