My Favourite Posts for October

I have read a lot of wonderful discussion posts by fellow bloggers in October. These are but a few of my favourite posts.

Sarah @ Kerosene Lit kicked off the month with a discussion on the way our reading habits change, with a specific focus on how we no longer seem to consider Going Into a Book Blind.

Summer @ Xingsings wrote a fabulous post looking at the process of requesting and reviewing ARC’s. All things ARCs.

Joey @ Another After Thought also wrote this delightful post of the role of secondary characters and why they’re just as important as our main protagonist.Supporting Characters Are Protagonists Too.

November To Be Read Listtbr nov

I’m currently reading Illuminae by Jay Kristoff and Amie Kaufman and I’m hoping to have it finished withing the next few days.

I can guarantee you that this to be read list will probably change dramatically over the course of the month but I do intend to read these books by the end of the year.

I hope you’ve all had a wonderful month.

Happy Reading.

    1. Thank you for your wonderful discussion posts. I’m a big fan of them because I love getting the opportunity of getting a different perspective on a lot of topics. Hope you have a wonderful reading month. 😀

  1. I can’t wait to read Six of Crows this month! I actually haven’t seen a single negative review about that book. Eep, so excited! From your TBR pile, I’ve read Everything Everything, The Boy Most Likely To and Illuminae and I enjoyed all three of them. I hope you like them too!

    1. I do hope you enjoy Six of Crows as much as I did. I finished Illuminae last night and was very happy to see that it lived up to the hype. Everything, Everything is looking to be my next book and I’m so excited to get started. 😀

  2. You had such a wonderful reading/blogging month, Lois! I think I read only 3 books and that was towards the beginning of October. I’m in a terrible reading slump right now (and consequently have no material to blog about-I guess, I could do some tag/award posts). T.T And thank you so much for featuring and sharing my post! 🙂

    1. Oh no, the dreaded reading slump. I absolutely hate it when that happens. It’s so frustrating not knowing what to read or not being in the mood to read.
My reading target seems to always be 5 books a month anything more than that is a bonus haha.
Thank you for your wonderful post. It was so insightful and really helped me understand the ARC process. 😀

      1. That’s a pretty healthy target, I think! 🙂 I have similar goals actually, usually 4-5 a month, too. I have a hard time finding the time to read and to blog about the books I read. It’s crazy (but so commendable) how many fast readers and bloggers there are in the blogosphere. I can’t even imagine how people juggle daily book blogging with real life! 🙂
